STUDENT INTERNET ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Use of the Internet by students is permitted and encouraged where such use is suitable for teacher-directed purposes. The Internet is to be used in a manner that is consistent with the school’s standards of conduct and as part of the normal execution of a student’s education.
School-provided Internet/Intranet privileges, like computer systems and networks, are considered School resources, and they are to be used for teacher-directed purposes only.
RESPONSIBILITIES & AGREEMENT
Violation of the agreement is a serious offence and may result in access privileges being restricted or withdrawn or appropriate action taken depending on the nature of the offence. A financial penalty may be incurred for deliberate interference with or damage to any item of equipment or software, data or files such as an attempt to change, copy or alter, hide or interfere with facilities or files. The school also reserves the right to report any illegal activities to the appropriate authorities.
